Michael "Moose" Moore - President & CEO

“Michael "Moose" Moore - President & CEO Michael "Moose" Moore has over 20 years in the United States Air Force where he served as a tactical fighter pilot flying F-4 Phantoms and F-15 Eagles. His military service also includes 12 months as a Tactical Air Control Team Member, serving with the US Army 2nd Infantry Division on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in South Korea . Moose also is a graduate of the Korean Army Ranger School . He retired from active duty as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1992, and is certified in Homeland Security Level III by the American College of Forensic Examiners and is a recent graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center with emphasis on counter terrorism. He also recently traveled to Israel where Moose completed specific training in terrorist threat detection focusing on terrorist behavioral indicators. He is an avid student of Krav Maga (Israeli self defense) and holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is a member of the International Association for Counter-Terrorism and Security Professionals; and is an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot.

Lt Colonel Moore holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Auburn University and a Masters of System Management from the University of Southern California .

Moose is often asked to speak to groups about the importance of vigilance skills. He provides hands on training to various professionals and groups including those in hospitality, healthcare, education, and business.

Cynthia Eckert, RN - Marketing and Sales

Cindy has 30 years of experience in health care with a background in emergency nursing and management, as well as, two decades of experience in compliance functions including risk management, quality management, accreditation, credentialing and auditing. She is considered an expert in emergency preparedness standards set by JCAHO, OSHA, FEMA and the National Response Framework. She serves as the Marketing Director for TigerSix, Inc. promoting vigilance training and vulnerability assessments to hospitals, businesses and universities. Currently Ms. Eckert performs as a contract healthcare consultant in the areas of CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives), NIMS (National Incident Management System), HICS (Hospital Incident Command System), and NIPP (National Infrastructure Protection Plan). She collaborates with other disaster preparedness experts to develop readiness survey tools, conduct emergency preparedness product and service assessments, and develop remediation strategies. Provides training to community healthcare providers in the areas of emergency mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.

Cindy is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society , the American Nurses Association, and the Tennessee Nurses Association.

Patrick Terry - Associate Trainer

Patrick is the owner and lead instructor of the Mid-South Krav Maga Self-Defense centers in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee. He has been active in martial arts for over 25 years and is a certified instructor within the Krav Maga Worldwide (KMW) Self Defense system and in the Force Training Division (Law Enforcement Only) as well as a KM-X Youth Division. Patrick's other martial arts history includes a 4th degree Black Belt in traditional karate and extensive cross-training in several other martial art disciplines. Patrick maintains a law enforcement commission as a Reserve Officer currently at the City of Gallatin, TN Police Department. Patrick has also served as a Sergeant Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee in multiple divisions including Patrol and Special Operations including the Gang Unit, Street Crimes and Narcotics units.

Patrick regularly leads seminars and lectures on many self defense topics including self defense, women’s safety, personal protection and self-preservation concepts, hand gun & knife defenses, and others. He regularly works in the field as a Police Officer and leads Defense Tactics training to agencies throughout the Tennessee area at both the officer and at the instructor level.

Patrick was a technology consultant for 18 years for many well known clients including Morgan Keegan, Entergy Nuclear Energy, Wells Fargo Bank, and Chase Bank and others. Patrick holds a Master’s Degree in Business from Christian Brothers University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis and two Associates’ Degrees in Engineering from State Technical Institute in Memphis.
